Earn While You Learn Parent Education
Material assistance is offered to our clients through this program. Clients work with one of our trained volunteers to develop basic parenting skills, prenatal care, and financial responsibility. By participating, they can earn "Alpha Bucks", redeemable for clothing, diapers, baby food, cribs, and other necessities.
Pregnancy Tests
Many young women come to Alpha wondering if they are pregnant. Alpha offers free pregnancy testing on a walk-in or appointment basis. We know that information is critical to making good decisions. Our trained volunteers are available to share with out clients the facts on pregnancy, fetal development, and abortion.
Post-Abortion and Sexual Healing Bible Studies
Alpha ministers in grace and truth to young women suffering from previous lifestyle or abortion decisions. Our Bible studies are available for women who seek healing and hope for their future.
Sexual Integrity Program
Over 60% of the women who come to Alpha for a pregnancy test are not, in fact, pregnant. These clients are encouraged to meet with one of our volunteers to discuss and assess their current relationships in light of the value of their own life and longing for unconditional love. Behaviors that are physically, emotionally, and spiritually risky are identified and the option of secondary virginity is shared.
Ultrasounds
Alpha will soon be able to offer free ultrasounds to women considering an abortion. This window to the womb will allow our clients the opportunity to bond with their unborn babies.
Youth Abstinence Program
Alpha has the unique privilege of being able to share the benefits of abstinence to many Christian and public schools and youth groups. Printed materials, as well as guest speakers are available to any school or youth group who would like to share this life-changing message with students. |
